Born in 1953 CK Chinnappa was among the disruptive news makers of India's halcyon days of idyllic sports back in the 80's through the turn of the century. Noisy typewriters and loudspeakers blared running commentaries of bikers running hell for leather across the country. Sholavaram, Nandi hills, Barakpore, Pune, Juhu, Rajasthan, Ladakh all came alive birthing the dare devils of yore.
